Busy pain management office looking for a full-time Medical Assistant in Bowie, MD.

Bi-Lingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.

Clinical responsibilities:

Escort patient to the exam room
Measure vital signs, including weight and blood pressure
Obtain and review the patient medical history
Reconcile patient medication
Document inpatient Electronic Medical Record
Locate lab and imaging reports and place in record prior to the appointment
Triage and process messages from patients to physicians
Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and forms

Clerical responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls
Checking outpatients after the appointment
Schedule appointments
Assist front desk representative

Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

Practice is open Monday through Friday. The ability to work flexible hours is a must.

Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required. EMR experience is a plus.
